Stash Box With Lock For The Snowboarding Stoner – A Stash Story
A Stash Story: Stash Box With Lock
“It took an unfortunate incident, but I was finally motivated to find a stash box with lock.
It took a disastrous event to get me there, but it happened. I’ve been snowboarding since the day I turned 12. For the 10 years before that, I was on skis. I’ve always loved being out on the mountain and still do to this day. Here’s the only difference: As my friends and I got older we’d go to one of our secret spots up at Whistler Blackcomb (our home base for the winter – lucky us, eh?) to smoke a little joint to start the day and another to cap it off. And a few in between.
The “Responsible One”
Being the “responsible one”, I was in charge of holding onto everyone’s weed. At one point in my early twenties, we took a trip to Banff for a weekend just to switch things up and rent a chalet. On the first day, I had about 8 different baggies and doob tubes in a grocery bag within my backpack. No one wanted to leave their weed and supplies back at the chalet so I had it all. All the boys were relying on me for their weed. Well, one jump that didn’t go as planned (who knew a 1080 is so hard?!) and my bag popped off, loose weed and doobs scattered across the white powder. None of it was salvageable and I pretty much ruined everyone’s day. Well, not RUINED, but the boys were far from happy. They gave me a hard time about it for the rest of the weekend and I felt horrible. I tried to rationalize it by telling myself, “Maybe you guys should have carried your OWN weed” and “Fuck me? Fuuuck youuuuu”
Everything worked out in the end but I was still extremely pissed off and honestly, embarrassed. My buddy asked the lift operator if he had any “marijuanas” before our next run and he hooked us up by the time the sun went down. It shouldn’t have bothered me so much, but it did. For literally a whole year.
365 days later, set to go on an identical trip with the same group of buddies, I made the decision to redeem myself. After a little bit of research into stash boxes with locks, I found exactly what I needed – a stash box with lock. A stash box with lock would allow me to hang onto everyone’s weed without the potential of losing everything to the powder.
The Stash Box – Lock Up
The StashLogix GoStash bag is not your typical stash box cause well, it’s a bag. Bag or box, it doesn’t matter because the StashLogic apparatus is everything you want in a stash box with a lock. It has a programmable combo lock, multiple compartments and it’s soft, which is great to have in my backpack while boarding. It keeps the smell low-key too.
It’s been a few years now, and I still use it on the hills. But more importantly, I use it as my everyday stash box. Having a stash box with lock is key (pun intended?) I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to keep their stash safe. The many different compartments also allow me to keep certain materials safer than others. Most of the stash box with lock options that I came across in my research was hard-cased and wouldn’t have worked in my backpack on the mountain.
It sucks that I had to let my boys down in Banff in order to find this stash box. When we go boarding together now, the lockable bag is usually filled with edibles and there’s no place I’d rather stash them.”
Most cannabis enthusiasts have a special container in their life, just like this stash box with a lock! It’s a container that holds many things very near and dear to their heart. Papers, grinders, filters and more, a stoner’s stash box can tell you a lot about the owner. Is it big? Small? Dirty? Clean? Organized? Or messy? What about the story behind it?
In a Stash Story we try to reveal the personal touches to choosing a place to store your herb. Your stash box could be a gift, a discovery, or an epiphany. But we want to see it!
